The Lion King is a wonderful production, faithful to the Disney-animated film, yet re-imagined for the stage. In the costumes the actors become human puppets who can sing and dance and play. The music is beautiful, using all the songs from the film and adding new ones which contribute to the telling of the story. When you see the birds, elephant, giraffes, cheetah, and impalas fill the stage in the opening, you know you are in for an extraordinary evening in the theater. Every minute is magic!
