If you watch the video of the Vanity Fair shoot with Keira Knightly and Scarlett Johanson, you'll understand exactly what Tom Ford meant when he explained that he "stepped in" for Rachel McAdams who got cold feet and declined at the last minute before the shoot. Tom Ford, it turns out, wasn't at the shoot either. His photo was added later!
