Swan Bell Tower
The bells in this tower were given to Perth years ago and warehoused until recently when the tower was erected on the Swan River. The bells are rung on special occasions. We heard them ringing at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve when we were in Perth City for Christmas Eve Mass at St. George's Cathedral. After the Swan Bells played, the cathedral bells played a Call to Worship. We were seated in silence inside the church when the playing started. Looking at all the faces around us, we could see how much everyone was enjoying the beauty of the bells.
